Sudhir Amembal, CEO of Amembal & Halladay and an affiliate of Rinaldi Advisory Services, is launching a new virtual seminar designed to help equipment finance professionals grasp essential concepts in finance, accounting, and tax.

The half-day interactive session, titled Mastering Finance, Accounting & Tax Essentials in Equipment Finance, will be offered exclusively in-house. Amembal, a longtime industry educator, will lead the training, covering core financial principles such as present value, internal rate of return, and nominal versus effective rates. The program will also address lease accounting distinctions and tax implications, including Section 179 and bonus depreciation.

“Equipment finance is a multi-disciplinary industry that requires an understanding of finance, accounting, and tax,” Amembal said. “Many professionals enter the field without formal training in these areas. This seminar uses practical examples and quizzes to break down these complex topics and highlight their impact on both customers and financiers.”

Amembal is a veteran educator in the field, having trained more than 80,000 equipment finance professionals and authored 18 books. His contributions have earned him industry recognition, including induction into the ELFA Hall of Fame and multiple awards from Monitor magazine.
