TAB Bank has been named “Best Community Bank” in the 2025 Utah Best of State Awards, marking the third consecutive year the Ogden-based bank has received the honor.

The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in their fields, foster innovation, and contribute meaningfully to the quality of life in Utah. TAB Bank will be honored at the Best of State Gala on June 10 at the Salt Palace Grand Ballroom in Salt Lake City.

Judges cited the bank’s commitment to community impact and social responsibility, as well as its financial products and services offered to businesses, individuals and families nationwide.

TAB doubled its small business lending portfolio over the past two years, exceeded 2023 revenue by 11%, and was named a Top 10 Best Online Bank by GOBankingRates. A Super Bowl ad for TAB Spend reached 1.2 million viewers and helped drive a 343% increase in website traffic.

In addition to its financial performance, TAB Bank reported $65 million in community development loans and grants, more than $80,000 in charitable donations, and nearly 2,000 hours of community service. The bank also continues its long-term support of the Ogden Rescue Mission Charity Golf Tournament, which has raised $540,000 since 2001.

“This recognition results from TAB’s extraordinary people, excellent operations and exceptional customer experience,” said TAB Bank CEO Austin Strong. “We remain dedicated to building the best financial products and services and are deeply grateful to the individuals, families and businesses across Utah who trust TAB Bank every day.”
